As you can see below, the M6 motorway snugs around
Stafford and we're served by two junctions. We are also served by rail
and a canal network. And if that wasn't enough, there are plans to
link our Stafford with Stafford County in Virginia USA using a giant
6000 mile tunnel but don't quote us on this !!
Birmingham is about 30 miles south and Stoke-upon-trent
is about 16 miles north, just far enough away not to trouble us (jk).
Stafford's central position in the UK and access to the major
transport services attracts many large business to the area. And to
entice more companies here, Large industrial estates have been built
at both motorway junctions.
