Adjoining Victoria Park on the site of mills dating back to Norman times. The preserved wheels of a mill demolished in 1957.

Although they look fine as they are, these wheels have been fitted the wrong way around. A good example of "lack of communication and planning" in the Borough !.. Still, this is a nice spot to have lunch or just stroll around for a while.

Recent flood protection works on this site unearthed a medieval water mill, although it is as yet undated, the Birmingham Uni team have predicted the site to be atleast 500 years old.

The site has been refilled and we believe the council intend to refit the Victorian wheels back in place. The BIG question is .. !  will they put them the correct way around this time ? !!
